power your business
Explore a collection of smart tech gear that Terri relies on daily to make managing a solo business easier, faster, and more efficient.

Apple MacMini Pro
This is the newer model of Terri’s MacMini (hers is from mid-2023). Great power in a small package. Terri didn’t need another laptop on her crowded desk, and this allows her to hook up to two large monitors (see below).
Fun Fact: Terri operates in the Apple ecosystem, and one of her favorite early clients was a team at Apple for whom she consulted for 12 years. She’s on her 25th Mac computer — the first was a MacPlus in 1986.

LG 27-inch 4K monitor
This is one of Terri’s big-screen monitors, and it completely changed the way she works. Having all that screen real estate made her so much more efficient. This is the recent version of her monitor, and it continues to be rated very highly by users.

Dell U2723QE 4K monitor
Once she had one monitor, Terri realized she could abandon her other laptop, get a MacMini and have two large screens. She opted for this Dell for her second monitor because the original LG model was no longer being offered at the time. Still a solid choice.

SONY ZV-E10 camera
This is a modest-priced digital video camera with interchangeable lenses that produces an incredibly sharp image. It works well for online coaching, teaching, and content creation. Terri swapped out the original lens for a 23mm lens.

Elgato Prompter
Adding a teleprompter to the setup transformed Terri’s on-screen interactions because it lets her project a client or Zoom room directly onto the screen. With the camera lens hidden by the image, it removes on-camera self-consciousness and makes everything more natural. Elgato has designed this to be easy to install and use, making it a seamless addition to any setup.

Shure MV7+ microphone

Terri has tested many microphones over the years, and the Shure MV7+ is her current favorite. High-quality audio is crucial for making a professional impression, and investing in a good mic is worth it. It creates quality sound, has the versatility of its USB-C and XLR outputs, and is a brand trusted by audio professionals worldwide.

Deluxe Varipole Support System
These expandable vertical tension poles allowed Terri to replace bulky light stands, freeing up valuable space in her office. They operate similar to tension curtain rods but are designed for vertical use by lighting professionals. They’re streamlined yet strong enough to support lights, cameras, and other equipment. Sold in pairs, and this link leads to B&H Camera — the best source I’ve found for them.
